The fork is there to show you the perfect squish of this burrata. Paired with heritage tomato and shaved fennel, it all tasted EXACTLY as good as it looks. This was one of the plates in my @timberyard10 ‘At Home’ meal this weekend and it was an easy joy of an event in my house. Timberyard is, in my opinion, Edinburgh’s very best restaurant and I’m so happy this family-run business found a way to bring us their goodness ‘at home.’ It’s so nice to collect from them, too; they’re selling delicious pantry food staples and wine and takeaway coffee and give great chat. Go; support, support.

I mean, it wasn’t the rowdiest Saturday night I’ve ever had...but simple pleasures soothe the soul, am I right?
This perfect woodruff & strawberry tart was the final dish in my @thegardenerscottage ‘at home’ dinner last weekend. Well worth booking delivery in advance or popping in to see what they’re grilling this weekend at the Cottage for takeaway. **Oh and this @andreuworld dining table & @haydesign chair came from fab local design mecca @cataloginteriors 💫💫🍷🍓
